Suzanne Ianni
President and CEO

Suzanne leads HANJ to improve health-care for New Jersey’s most vulnerable. As the recognized voice for safety net hospitals for over three decades, she works with legislative and administrative leaders to raise awareness of critical healthcare issues facing our state.

Chris Czvornyek
Vice President, Finance and Strategy

Chris has more than 12 years of experience in Medicaid financial management and reimbursement policy. While at the NJ Office of Management and Budget and Medicaid, he led several federal maximization initiatives that generated significant revenue for both the State of NJ and the hospital industry. Most recently, Chris administered incentive and value-based programs for a Medicaid health plan.

Jen Mura

Executive Assistant/Office Manager

Jen has joined the HANJ team after retiring from a 30 year career as a special education teacher. Prior to moving into education, Jen worked as an Aide to the Governor in Trenton and also as a Vice President of an association of NJ teaching hospitals.

Brian Shott

Vice President, Policy

Brian previously served as Government Relations Director for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. Prior to this, he was Senior Program Manager for the State Health Reform Assistance Network and State Health and Value Strategies. These programs provided technical assistance to states in their implementation of efforts to improve population health and reform the delivery of health care services. Brian previously spent several years as a legislative aide for the NJ State Senate.
